Content + Creative Portfolio

Hello! I’m Sarah. I’m a brand builder, content champion and communication enthusiast.

Oh, hi.

I am a journalism-born, marketing-bred creative strategist, writer and leader, with deep brand marketing experience and creating content that tells the right story, resonates with audiences and drives organic brand growth.

What else do you want to know? Below are my fun facts—sorry if we’ve been in an ice breaker together because then you’ve probably heard them already:

  • I went to graduate school in Chicago and consider the city my long lost love.

  • I love making things for people: cakes, crafts, cards. I will happily do things in hard mode to make it more special.

  • I will always want to know what you’re watching, reading and listening to. Media and pop culture are my favorite conversation starters.

  • I skipped the 3rd grade and it took me a long time to learn to multiply.

  • I have two cats, which is completely normal but it automatically makes me the cat person in any group or gathering.

Thanks for stopping by—it’s great to see you.

What I do

I firmly believe marketing is equal parts art and science. The art: It has to be good! Effective content must be fresh, engaging and lead with the audience in mind. The science: Laddering content up to overall business objectives and making something that’s valuable and actionable to the person consuming it.

I’m also a business leader who’s especially enthusiastic about building high-performing teams and contributing to meaningful organizational cultures.
